Expense Administrator Certification

Thinking about taking the test to be SAP Concur Certified. I took the practice test . . .

I passed the practice, but didn't get 100% . . . I'd love to know what I got wrong, but it doesn't give the answers.

So here's another thought . . . why do you need to be employed to get certification? Sure, it's great if you are, so you can get your employer to pay for it. But if you are out of work, or looking to change positions, it would be great if as an individual you can take the tests. After all, they are made for the Admin, not for employer.

I just enquired into that as well. I can tell you that for any training, they issue a sales document and attach the invoice to a current purchase order on their monthly account

I would prefer to pay for my own study an certification. It is a question I will definately ask my account manager is in the training section, perhaps you can ask her

Yes,@TrishW, that is correct. When you register for the training and/or test, they will issue a Sales Order. I suppose if you really want to pay for it yourself, you could. Since we pay all of our invoices with a credit card, you could just charge it to your own credit card. Or perhaps your company would permit you to charge it to their card and you reimburse them.

As for me, I'm perfectly happy having them pay for it, since I'm the one that ends up with the certification! They've certainly got more cash than I do!

But it would be a good thing if it weren't required to be signed off by the Company. As I said previously, if you are unemployed and want to boost your skills/resume, it would be great if you could just do it on your own.

As@ClayTmentioned, that is eventually the goal.

Iam preparing to sit for the Configurationcertification exam. I would like a sample test to see if I am indeed totally prepared - don't want to waste time and money if I need further study.

Would someone please recommend the best sample/example test. As the one available for practice in the Concur training link just gives 10 questions and does not say what went wrong.

I've been studying to take the Associate one, but really looking forward to taking the Professional one as well.

I recently completed the Concur Professional certificate so sharing my experience; hope it helps this community.

I have worked for SAP Concur for more than 4 years as Implementation Manager and was part of many rollouts so familiarity with the overall subject was helpful. I will still not say it was easy as some questions were tricky even to confuse an experienced person. I have spent roughly 2 months; 1 hour each day on average to read end-user and configuration guide available onhttps://www.concurtraining.com/certification

For a non-consultant, It may require little more effort. Guides available on the certification page are very useful as these cover most of the topics and questions asked. Some hands-on experience to the configuration; may be just a Test system that will be added support as this will help to visualize questions and you can easily recall options available on any particular screen.
